In the heart of Norton Shores, Oasis Senior Living offers more than just a place to live—it offers a place to thrive. With beautifully designed apartments, individualized care plans, and a team that truly feels like family, Oasis redefines senior living through a blend of independence, support, and community.
With programs that include Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, Oasis provides a personalized experience for every resident—one rooted in respect, dignity, and genuine warmth.
A Home That Evolves With You
At Oasis, residents can truly age in place—a concept that allows seniors to transition from independent living to higher levels of care, including assisted living and end-of-life support, without leaving the comfort of their apartment (unless memory care is required).
The community offers a variety of living options, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as deluxe layouts featuring fireplaces or patios. All apartments come equipped with kitchenettes, emergency call pendants, and pull cords, ensuring both comfort and safety.
What makes Oasis truly unique is its single-level layout—no stairs or elevators to navigate—and thoughtful features like a spa room, movie theater, beauty salon, putting green, billiards room, and four enclosed courtyards.

Care That Fits, Right From the Start
Every resident begins their journey with a personalized wellness evaluation. As Wellness Director Kim Sommers explains,
“Our wellness director meets with each potential resident and their family to assess the level of care needed. It’s a thorough process to make sure we’re tailoring everything to their needs from day one.”
There’s currently no waiting list, and new residents can move in as soon as a room is chosen, a deposit is placed, a physician’s assessment is completed, and the care evaluation is finished. This process typically takes one to three weeks.
Oasis is currently a private pay facility, but they do accommodate VA benefits, helping veterans take full advantage of the care they’ve earned.
Comfort and Community Built In
Residents at Oasis enjoy a worry-free lifestyle with three homemade meals per day, snacks, a juice and coffee bar, and full housekeeping, laundry, and linen services included in the rent. Maintenance is handled by staff, and every detail is crafted to help residents enjoy each day without the stress of chores.
“Our meals are 97% homemade,” Kim shares, “and we’ve created an environment that’s as warm and inviting as the people who live here.”
Pets are welcome too—cats are allowed—making it easy for residents to bring part of their family along.
Exceptional Memory Care for Peace of Mind
For residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related conditions, Oasis offers a secure, specialized Memory Care unit. This area is staffed 24/7 by dementia-trained caregivers and features controlled access, emergency monitoring, and clutter-free spaces designed to minimize anxiety and promote comfort.
Residents in memory care enjoy therapeutic programming and activities designed to stimulate cognitive function and emotional well-being—all while being safely supported.
Staying Active and Connected
The social life at Oasis is rich and varied. Residents enjoy Bingo several times a week, creative crafts, and exciting additions like cardio drumming and armchair travel, a program where residents explore other cultures via documentaries and themed snacks in the movie theater.
Family members are not just welcome—they’re encouraged to be involved. Oasis hosts regular events for families and invites them to use the game room and movie theater with their loved ones. Even after hours, visiting is easy thanks to a doorbell system that alerts a caregiver to let visitors in.
“We’re staffed by people who care, and we’ve built a community that families want to be part of—not just visit occasionally,” says Kim.
Health Services That Grow With You
Oasis emphasizes ongoing care and health monitoring. Every resident receives a personalized care plan after move-in, with an update after 30 days and annually after that—or immediately if a health change occurs.
While Oasis currently does not offer transportation to medical appointments, a nurse practitioner visits weekly, and a hospice RN is available in-house, giving families confidence that medical needs are never overlooked.
Staff undergo on-floor training, monthly continuing education, and dementia-specific sessions, ensuring the highest standard of care across all departments.
Want to See It for Yourself?
