Montague High School Honors the Class of 2025
Montague High School proudly celebrated its 141st Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2025. The evening brought together families, friends, educators, and community members to recognize the accomplishments of the Class of 2025—a group defined by resilience, dedication, and school pride.
Held in the Montague gymnasium, the ceremony featured performances by the MHS Band and Choir, as well as a commencement address by teacher Tyler Frank. Senior Class President Greta Auch and Junior Class President Fletcher Thommen led the presentation of the color staff, and Principal Christy Thommen addressed the graduates with a message of reflection and encouragement.
The class motto, a quote from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, set the tone for the evening:
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and take a look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
The class flower was provided by the Montague AgriScience Greenhouse, and the class song—“You’re Gonna Go Far” by Noah Kahan—highlighted the graduates’ forward-looking spirit.
