Rotary Seeks Competitors for Bacon, Bloodys & Brews

Get ready, White Lake!

The Montague-Whitehall Rotary Club is launching its 1st Annual Bacon, Bloodys, and Brews Festival on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 6–9 p.m. at North Grove Brewers — and they’re looking for local talent to join as competitors!

Do you craft the ultimate Bloody Mary or create mouthwatering bacon dishes? This is your chance to share your creations, let the public sample them, and compete for a cash prize as the people’s choice winner.

How It Works:

  • Enter as an individual or a team — you only need to sign up for one category, but ambitious folks can enter both.
  • There’s no entry fee, but you provide your own ingredients.
  • Bloody Mary competitors: Alcohol must be purchased through North Grove Brewers (per liquor license rules); plan to serve at least 200 one-ounce samples.
  • Bacon competitors: Any bacon-based dish is welcome; prepare at least 200 bite-size samples.

The Rotary team will provide tasting cups, plates, napkins, and utensils — you just bring the flavor! Competitors will set up outdoors (weather permitting), and if you’re bringing a grill or appliance, make sure to arrange safe setup in advance.

Competitor registration deadline: May 31, 2025
