Summer EBT Helps Michigan Families Feed Kids

White Lake, Mich. — Michigan families have extra help this summer making sure their kids stay fed and healthy, thanks to the Michigan Summer EBT program.

The program provides $120 per eligible child to help families buy groceries during the summer months when school meals aren’t available. Families can use the benefits to purchase groceries at stores and farmers markets that accept EBT.

✅ They are foster children, homeless, migrant, or a runaway
✅ They are approved for free or reduced-price meals through school

Some families will automatically receive Summer EBT benefits if they meet these qualifications. If so, you will get a notice in the mail — no application required.
