The Arts Council of White Lake – Nuveen (ACWL-Nuveen) works to inspire the White Lake community through accessible and engaging opportunities in the arts. To that end, they’ve made a list of resources available to their Gallery Member artists that they’re also sharing here. The following is a list of websites which they hope will open doors to new opportunities for local artists!
This is a place to find just what its name suggests: all kinds of art shows that are looking for entries from artists. When you sign up, you can upload your information and images to an account and apply directly to shows listed there.
Based out of Minneapolis, MN – they have a ton of resources for artists – there is a focus on Minnesota base artisans, but they also have resources for artists from all over the U.S. One downloadable resource is their Work of Art curriculum – available to download as a free PDF
Artwork Archive is another resource site for artists – ‘It is an art inventory platform that artists use to track their artwork, showcase their portfolio and grow their business’. You can access some of their info for free or pay a monthly fee.
Inside Art – https://streamlinepublishing.com/inside-art/ – This site publishes an email note with info primarily for painters – techniques and historic references. It is free to sign up for the emails.
Level Up – An upcoming series of online workshops from Creative Mornings and Adobe. It is designed to ‘help you grow, gain confidence, and take meaningful next steps in your creative career’. Starts April 28. https://creativemornings.com/blog/adobe-level-up
