ACWL-Nuveen Offers Affordable Spring Break Classes!

Thanks to support from Seaver’s Lawn Service, Arts Council of White Lake – Nuveen (ACWL-Nuveen) are able to host art classes for school-age children each Spring Break at an extremely affordable rate. Because these classes are so accessible, they are also very popular! In an attempt to create an even playing field for class registration, ACWL-Nuveen will be opening registration for ALL Spring Break Art Classes on Thursday, February 13 at 12:00pm EST. Polymer Clay Animals

Tuesday, April 8 & Thursday, April 10

1:00 – 2:30pm each day

Ages 8 – 12

$9 ACWL members, $10 non-members

Create a unique animal sculpture using polymer clay.

Ceramic Snack Bowl

with Kim Funk

Wednesday, April 9 & Thursday, April 10

10:00 – 11:30am each day

Ages 6 – 10

$22.50 ACWL members, $25 non-members

Learn the basics of hand building ceramics while creating a unique snack bowl.

Galactic Skies Painting

1:00 – 2:00pm

Ages 6 – 10

Paint a colorful night sky full of stars amidst a skyline silhouette.

Flower Still Life

Ages 12-18

$9 ACWL members, $10 non-members

Learn how to create a realistic and detailed drawing of a still life of a flower using a variety of pencil techniques.
