Downtown Whitehall just got a little cleaner. The new SUDZ Laundromat, located at 206 E Colby Street, is now open and ready for customers. This modern, 24-hour facility brings high-efficiency machines, a bright atmosphere, and plenty of convenience to the community. Owner Danny Zuniga says his goal is to make laundry faster, easier, and more comfortable for everyone who walks through the doors.
Cutting-Edge Equipment and Cashless Options
Inside, customers will find 30 brand-new washers and 30 dryers that can handle up to 60-pound loads. Every machine offers tap-to-pay options, including Venmo, Apple Pay, and QR codes, making it simple to wash without coins or cash. The building is fully air-conditioned and equipped with security cameras for safety. Even better, it’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so residents can stop by whenever it fits their schedule.
Expanding a Successful Business Model
Zuniga, who also owns a Sudz laundromat in Shelby, expanded to Whitehall after seeing local demand for a modern, self-service location. He purchased the space next to the former Chen’s restaurant and renovated it to feature bright lighting, new flooring, and energy-efficient equipment. The adjacent 4,800-square-foot area, once a gym, is also available for rent or sale, hinting at future development possibilities.

The White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed SUDZ as one of the newest additions to the downtown business scene. Chamber listings highlight the laundromat’s 24-hour access, large-capacity machines, and easy payment features as major draws for both residents and visitors. As the community grows, SUDZ brings another practical, locally owned option to keep Whitehall fresh and thriving.
