The second annual Holiday Cookie Crawl, presented by the White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau, was a huge success! Held on Saturday, December 14, participants enjoyed a day of delicious cookies, festive fun, and exploration of local businesses across Montague, Whitehall, and the surrounding area.
A Beautiful Day for a Cookie Crawl
The weather could not have been better – a beautiful, sunny winter day set the perfect scene for this much-anticipated event. Registered participants kicked off the morning at the White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau in Whitehall, where they picked up their cookie carriers, event maps, and, of course, their first sweet treat of the day.
From there, the adventure began! Participants visited a variety of local businesses, collecting homemade cookies and exploring everything our charming communities have to offer. With stores decorated for the holidays and welcoming visitors with cheer, it was a festive celebration of local spirit and community support.
What’s a Cookie Crawl?
For those unfamiliar, a cookie crawl is a delightful event where participants “crawl” from one business to another, picking up cookies at each stop. It’s a fun way to explore local businesses, support the community, and enjoy a variety of homemade cookies – a win-win for everyone!
A Sweet Success
With a cap of 100 participants, this year’s Cookie Crawl sold out quickly, showing just how much the event has become a beloved holiday tradition. Smiles, laughter, and full cookie carriers were seen all around, as families and friends made memories together while sampling delicious treats.
A Big Thank You!
The White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau extends a heartfelt thank you to all the participating businesses for their contributions and to the community for making this event so special. The Cookie Crawl wouldn’t be possible without your support and enthusiasm.
For those who missed out this year, keep an eye out for next year’s event – it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. Until then, let’s continue to celebrate and support our local businesses throughout the season.
Here’s to a sweet holiday season filled with community spirit and plenty of cookies!
