Thanks to the generosity of 89 supporters, the Arts Council of White Lake – Nuveen Center (ACWL-Nuveen) raised $32,257 during their end-of-year giving campaign! They ran the campaign a little differently this year; rather than one matching donor, they aimed to raise $12,500 from several donors before the campaign started so they could use that as a matching goal and raise $25,000 in total. The wonderful people listed below, as well as several anonymous donors, helped them establish the matching funds for the campaign:
❤️Laura Schultz❤️
💙Jane Hanna💙
💛Mackenzie Smith💛
❤️Judy Lee❤️
💙Margaret Billups💙
💛James & Elizabeth Bolger💛
❤️Doug & Susan Prosch❤️
💙Ron & Nan Bruskotter💙
💛Kathy Sicher💛
❤️Tracy Dobson❤️
💙Kathy Rogers💙
ACWL-Nuveen was thrilled to meet their $25,000 goal several weeks before the end of the campaign, and they added an additional $2,500 in matching funds to create a new overall goal of $30,000. They had a big artistic boost in the home stretch from ACWL-Nuveen Artist Member John Herron who regularly teaches a beloved series of workshops at ACWL-Nuveen. John offered a FREE matted watercolor from his work in the ACWL-Nuveen retail gallery to anyone who gave or would give $200 (pre-match) or more to the campaign. Such a kind and generous contribution!

Throughout the campaign, ACWL-Nuveen shared a weekly post featuring a unique artistic take on the Giving campaign logo. The logos were created in a variety of mediums, including colored pencil, ink, marker, fabric, paint, and collage. ACWL-Nuveen extends a big thank you to Aili Casano, Sarajane Fellini, Tamara Horne, LuAnn Hulce, Cari Rasor, and Sue Wink for their lovely contributions.

The weekly post also included a brief profile of people who spoke to the benefits ACWL-Nuveen offers the community. Their experiences helped capture the heart of the Arts Council by showing their day-to-day impact. ACWL-Nuveen extends a big thank you to (left to right, top to bottom) Amy Yonkman, Sarah Johnston, the Hall family, and Kenn Joyce for sharing their stories.

The ACWL-Nuveen exceeded the $30,000 goal by several thousand dollars, thanks to a large group of donors who showed their support for the arts and the positive impact they have on White Lake and the greater West Michigan community. Their contributions helped ACWL-Nuveen make the most of the matching goal. ACWL-Nuveen says a BIG thank you to these donors, as well as several anonymous donors:
