Winter fun is back on tap in Montague and Whitehall with the 3rd Annual Snowy Sips Pub Craw, returning on Friday, January 24, starting at noon at Fetch Brewing Company.
Snowy Sips began three years ago when Amy Meyers and a group of friends dreamed up a White Lake–area pub crawl as a way to gather friends, support local businesses, and give back to the community. Somewhere along the way, a typo turned “Pub Crawl” into “Pub Craw,” and just like that, the crawfish mascot was born, quickly becoming part of the event’s personality. What started as a simple crawl has grown into a much-loved annual tradition with a growing community following.

A Craw With a Cause
Snowy Sips isn’t just about hopping from pub to pub—it’s about supporting local causes. Each year, the event gives back to a different local organization, and this year, the proceeds will go to the Arts Council of White Lake – Nuveen Center’s 2026 Summer Concert Series. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help cover the cost of the free concerts held every Tuesday throughout the summer. Any funds raised beyond that goal will support Nuveen’s youth programming, ensuring the community benefits even more.
- Year One: Support for families in need
- Year Two: Hope Scarves, benefiting those facing metastatic breast cancer
- Year Three: Supporting the Nuveen Center’s free summer concert series
This year’s event is especially meaningful, as it directly supports something that the entire community can enjoy all summer long.
