American democracy is facing historic challenges. Many fear it’s too broken to fix—or that only conflict can bring change. Professor Takitaki offers a different path: a peaceful, legal, citizen-powered revolution to restore democratic integrity by reimagining the two-party system.

Professor David Takitaki, Ferris State University Political Science Program coordinator and director of the Political Engagement Project, is an award-winning educator and past president of the Michigan Political Science Association.
