Spend Monday Night Downtown
If you’ve never experienced The FAN Club, make this the year.
Every Monday evening throughout the summer, North Mears Street outside Fetch Brewing Company comes alive with music, laughter, and conversation. The street closes at 6:30 p.m., and live music begins at 7 p.m.
Bring a chair, meet up with friends, or simply wander downtown and enjoy the atmosphere.

The music doesn’t stop there.
Many local restaurants, breweries, and bars feature live music throughout the week, making it easy to enjoy talented local musicians while exploring the community.
Looking for something truly special?
Throughout its Summer Arts Festival, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp welcomes the public to more than 150 performances featuring campers, faculty, and guest artists. Nearly every performance is free and open to the community, making it one of the area’s hidden summer treasures.

Stop by the Adult Open Studio at the Arts Council of White Lake’s Nuveen Center on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
Bring your own project or use the shared supplies available in the studio.
No experience required.

Step Into History
Every community has stories waiting to be discovered.
Spend an afternoon at the Montague Museum, where local history comes to life through exhibits that celebrate the people and events that shaped our area.
Then stop by the Caboose Museum, where you can step inside a historic railroad caboose, view donated artifacts, sign the guest book, and watch a short informational video about White Lake’s railroad history. The museum is open during White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce business hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Nearby, the Meinhardi Museum offers a glimpse inside what Dr. John Meinhardi’s medical office looked like in the early 1900s. Originally built in 1903, the restored building now serves as a fascinating museum preserving another chapter of Whitehall’s history.
