Harbor Hospice Purse Party Raises $4,700 for Camp Courage

What started as a simple idea ten years ago continues to make a measurable impact in the community.

This year’s Harbor Hospice Purse Party raised $4,700 in support of Camp Courage, nearly doubling its $2,500 goal and continuing a decade-long effort to support children and teens navigating grief.

Over the past ten years, the event has raised nearly $40,000, helping provide meaningful camp experiences for local families through Harbor Hospice’s grief support program.

The annual event brings the community together for an afternoon that blends fun with purpose, with attendees browsing and bidding on a wide selection of purses while supporting a cause that reaches far beyond the event itself.

More than just a fundraiser, the Purse Party reflects the continued support of a community committed to making sure children facing loss have a place to connect, heal, and grow.
