White Lake Area Climate Action Council (WLACAC) Hosts a FREE Celebrate Solar Picnic!

Montague, MI – August 28, 2025 – WLACAC, Michigan Climate Action Network (MiCAN), and the Michigan League of Conservation Voters invite the White Lake Area businesses and residents to the Celebrate Solar Community Picnic on Saturday, September 13th from 12:30 to 3:00 PM at the Montague Artisan Market, concluding a summer-long campaign to increase public engagement around renewable energy, utility accountability, and energy justice in West Michigan.

Your Energy, Your Rights! Renewables are vital to our energy future. Discover local solar projects, meet energy leaders, and learn how solar energy is powering a cleaner, more resilient White Lake Area. Enjoy family-friendly activities, prizes, music with Tommy Foster, and free resources – including our Solar Discovery Map, the Michigan Ratepayer Bill of Rights, our online Celebrate Solar Resource List with hands-on tools for taking action locally and statewide.
