The White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau invites the community and visitors alike to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with one of West Michigan’s favorite Independence Day traditions: the annual 4th of July Parade, taking place Saturday, July 4, at 10:00 a.m.
This patriotic celebration begins at Whitehall City Hall, travels along Colby Street/BUS-31, crosses the historic bridge, and concludes in front of Montague City Hall on Ferry Street. The parade will feature more than 90 festive entries, including beautifully decorated floats, marching groups, classic vehicles, community organizations, local businesses, and plenty of red, white, and blue spirit.
As the nation commemorates 250 years, the parade will honor our country’s rich history while celebrating the vibrant businesses and organizations that make the White Lake Area, and surrounding areas, such a special place to live, work, and visit.
Leading the parade will be members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), paying tribute to the men and women who have served our country.
The 2026 White Lake 4th of July Parade is proudly sponsored by RE/MAX West, with CatchMark Technologies serving as the official Livestream Sponsor. Those unable to attend in person can watch the parade live while Brent Raeth, Managing Partner with CatchMark Technologies, and Pete McCarthy, Fire Chief with White Lake Fire Authority, provide coverage from outside CatchMark Technologies’ downtown Whitehall office.
Celebrate America’s 250th with a White Lake keepsake! A limited number of White Lake Area 4th of July commemorative buttons are available to the public while supplies last. These buttons are typically reserved for parade participants, but we have extras this year to celebrate the Semiquincentennial! Pick yours up at the White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau, 124 W. Hanson St. in Whitehall, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The celebration starts the evening before with the White Lake Fireworks, presented by the White Lake Fireworks Committee, on Friday, July 3, at dusk. The spectacular display over White Lake has become a cherished tradition, drawing thousands of spectators to kick off the holiday weekend in a magical way.
Whether you’re joining us for the fireworks, the parade, or an entire weekend of celebration, be sure to explore everything the White Lake Area has to offer.
